The Galleries of The Interchurch Center

In the Spring of 2025 Jennifer Roberts, who had previously visited my studio in December of 2024, contacted me and asked if I would meet her for coffee near my studio, Crown Heights Brooklyn, and walk the nieghborhood. She wanted to take in the spring gardens and flowers while getting to know me a little better and discuss the possibility of a show at the expansive galleries of the Interchurch Center on Riverside Drive on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.
I was both surprised and pleased that a curator would want to "walk the neighborhood", take in the spring air and garden views, while presenting an opportunity of showing in the gallery she curated for - kind of a dream come true.
The show presented at the Interchurch Center and re-presented in images here on this website is the product of Jennifer's keen eye and tireless viewing and re-viewing of my work considered for the exhibit. Jennifer considered well over 60 works (paintings, works on paper, small drawings) to finalize her curatorial vision. I'm very grateful for that vision and for the final installation presenting my work at its best.
